Chapter 06 — Family & Parenting
How do I stop my kids from fighting?
Don't be the referee. Coach both sides on repair: name what happened, say what they wanted, propose a fix. Sibling conflict is where kids practice negotiation, so total peace isn't the goal.
Follow-up questions
When should I intervene?
Physical violence, cruel words, or clear power imbalances. Otherwise let them work it out.
Age gap matters?
Yes — bigger gaps mean less rivalry but less companionship; closer gaps have more friction, more friendship.
